Motion Swap vs Dance & Moves: Which Should You Use?
PulseMotionHub has two ways to make the person in your photo perform a movement. Dance & Moves gives you a gallery of ready-made moves, and Motion Swap lets you upload your own reference clip. They use the same engine, so the difference is mostly about where the movement comes from, what you can control, and what rights you need.
- Dance & Moves: upload only a photo, pick a ready-made move. Quick and simple, about 3 or 4 credits.
- Motion Swap (beta): upload your own clip and a photo. More flexible, and you are responsible for the clip’s rights.
- Both cost 1 credit per 2 seconds of video.
- Both need a photo you have the right to use, with the consent of the person in it.

How They Work (Briefly)
Both tools use Kling Motion Control. It reads the movement in a reference video and applies it to the person in your photo, which sets the look and the background. The difference is the source of that movement: with Dance & Moves we provide it, and with Motion Swap you do.
Use Dance & Moves When…
- You just want a quick dance or gesture and have no clip.
- You want a predictable price shown before you generate.
- You would rather not deal with the rights to a video.

Use Motion Swap When…
- You have a specific movement in mind that is not in the gallery, such as your own choreography or a gesture you filmed.
- You want a longer video, up to 30 seconds.
- You want the reference clip’s sound kept on the result.
Film a clip yourself, or use one you have clear rights to. Motion Swap accepts MP4, MOV and WEBM files up to 30 seconds and 50MB.
Rights and Consent: Read This First
With either tool you must have the right to use the photo and the consent of the person in it. With Motion Swap you are also responsible for the reference video. Only upload clips you filmed, own or have a licence to use, and never use someone else’s likeness without their permission. Both tools follow our Content Policy: content that breaks it is refunded and counts as a strike, and repeated violations lead to suspension.
Tips for Better Results With Either Tool
- Use a clear photo of one person with their arms visible.
- Match the photo’s framing to the movement: full body with full body, waist-up with upper body.
- For Motion Swap, use a reference clip with one person, their head and body in view, and a still camera.
