AI Video Presets: One-Click Effects From a Single Photo

📅 Oct 2026·⏱ 6 min read·PulseMotionHub Team

Writing a good motion prompt is a skill, and sometimes you just want a result. Video Presets removes the prompt: you upload one image, pick an effect such as a slow orbit, a product turntable or snow falling through the scene, and get a finished 5-second clip. Here is what the 20 presets do, what they cost, and how to choose the right one for your photo.

Key takeaways

What Video Presets Are

A preset is a ready-made effect. Instead of describing the motion yourself, you pick it from a list, and the right instructions are applied for you. The result keeps your subject, face, clothing and background as they are in the photo and adds the motion on top.

Presets use the same models as our image to video tool: Kling v2.1 on Standard quality and Kling 3.0 Pro on Pro quality. They are separate from Dance & Moves, which transfers a person’s movement onto your photo.

How to Use Presets

1
Upload your image. JPG, PNG or WEBP up to 5MB. Use something you have the right to use.
2
Pick a preset. Use the category chips to filter, and read the “Best with” line on each card.
3
Choose a quality. Standard is cheapest. Pro quality uses Kling 3.0 Pro and needs a Pro or Studio plan.
4
Press Generate. A 5-second clip appears in about a minute or two.

Which Preset Should You Try First?

Presets vs Writing Your Own Prompt

Presets are faster and more predictable for common effects, and you do not need to learn prompt wording. A custom prompt is better when you want a very specific action, a particular style or several things happening at once. For that, use Image to Video and read our prompting guide.

⚠️ Set expectations. Presets are 5 seconds long and built for motion, not sound, so plan to add music in your editor. Results also depend on the photo. An effect that suits one image can look odd on another, which is why each card lists what it works best with. Try the cheapest quality first.

One credit for Standard quality or two credits for Pro quality, which needs a Pro or Studio plan.

How long are preset videos?

Each preset makes a 5-second clip.

Do presets have sound?

Presets are designed for motion, not audio. Plan to add music or sound effects afterwards in your editor.
