Wan 3.0 Guide: Alibaba’s AI Video Model, Explained (2026)
Wan 3.0 is Alibaba’s latest Wan video model, and it is the budget-friendly way into long AI clips: up to 30 seconds, optional sound, text or image input. It is now in PulseMotionHub’s Next-Gen tab and, unlike Seedance 2.5, it works on every paid plan. Here is what it does, what it costs, and when to reach for it.
- Wan 3.0 is in the Next-Gen tab and works on every paid plan, including Starter.
- A 5-second HD clip is 3 credits from text, a 30-second HD clip is 14, and Draft 480p is cheaper still.
- Image to video runs on Wan 3.0’s “Prime” tier, which costs more to run, so it is priced a little higher than text to video at the same length.
- Use it for drafts, longer clips and volume. Compare it with Seedance 2.5 on your own prompt before you commit to a favourite.

When you attach a start image, the tab uses Wan 3.0 Prime, the higher-priced tier that fal.ai offers for image to video. That costs us more, so it costs a little more here, and the price on the Generate button updates the moment you add a photo.

When Wan 3.0 Is the Right Pick
- You want a long clip without a big spend. A 30-second Draft clip is 7 credits from text.
- You are drafting. Test a prompt for 2 credits at 480p before spending more.
- You are on Starter. Wan 3.0 is the only Next-Gen model that does not need Pro or Studio.
- You make a lot of clips. Lower prices per second add up over a month. See how many videos your credits buy.

Limits to Know About
- Two qualities. We offer 480p and 720p, not 1080p. Use the upscaler if you need a bigger file.
- Image mode costs a bit more than text mode at every length because it runs on the higher-priced Prime tier.
- Long clips drift. A 30-second clip needs a simple, coherent scene.
- Generated sound is optional and best treated as a rough track you can replace.
