Product Turntable Video From a Photo: A Slow, Clean 360 Spin
A slow, steady spin on a plain background is the classic way to show a product. Normally it needs a motorized turntable, a camera and consistent lighting. The Product Turntable preset makes a similar clip from one photo. The honest caveat: the sides you have not photographed are invented, so treat it as a presentation effect, not a documentary view.
- Product Turntable gives a single product on a plain or studio background a slow, clean spin in 5 seconds.
- It costs 1 credit on Standard quality.
- The back and sides are generated. Photograph real angles for anything buyers must verify.
- Remove the background first for the cleanest result.
What the Preset Does
Upload a photo of one product, ideally on a plain or studio background, and the preset produces a 5-second clip with a slow, clean 360-style spin, tuned for shop and ad clips. It also tells the model to keep your product’s colors and look unchanged. Our general advice on presets is in AI video presets explained.
Standard quality runs on Kling v2.1 for 1 credit. Pro quality runs on Kling 3.0 Pro for 2 credits and needs the Pro or Studio plan. Test on Standard first.
Products That Suit a Spin
| Product | How well it works |
|---|---|
| Mugs, bottles, candles, jars | Very good, simple round shapes |
| Shoes and sneakers | Good, check the sole and laces |
| Jewelry and watches | Good for mood; check details closely |
| Electronics and gadgets | Mixed, small ports and text can warp |
| Clothing on a hanger or mannequin | Mixed, folds and seams invented |
| Items with text and logos | Poor, lettering garbles |
Preparing the Photo
1 credit, 5 seconds.
The Honest Part: Invented Sides
A real turntable shows every side of the real product. A photo only contains one. When the product turns, the model invents the sides and back, and it may add buttons, logos, seams or shapes that do not exist. That is fine for a stylistic clip, but it is not a reliable view of your item. For online shops this matters:
- Do not use it to show features or dimensions. Use real photos from several angles.
- Keep real photos in the listing. The spin is a supplement.
- Disclose when it is generated, where rules or your own standards require.
- Check every frame against the product in your hand.
Turntable or Orbit?
In a turntable shot the object rotates and the camera stays put; in an orbit the camera circles. For a product on a plain background they look much the same. For people, rooms and scenes, use the 360 Orbit preset instead.
Cost
Ten products at Standard quality are 10 credits, plus 10 for background removal if you need it, so about 20 credits or $10.40 at the Starter price. Add retries for the ones that do not work first time.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I make a product turntable video from one photo?
Open the Presets tab, upload a photo of one product on a plain background, choose Product Turntable and generate a 5-second spin.
How much does it cost?
1 credit on Standard quality, or 2 credits on Pro quality (Pro and Studio plans).
Is the back of my product accurate?
No. The model invents the sides and back, so do not use the clip to show real features. Photograph real angles for listings.
Which products work best?
Simple shapes such as mugs, bottles, candles and sneakers on plain backgrounds. Items with text, logos or small ports are harder.
Should I remove the background first?
It helps. The background remover costs 1 credit and gives a cleaner spin.
