Seedance 2.0 Fast is the Seedance model we label as best quality in the Premium tab. It makes 5 or 10-second clips with native audio from text or an image. It costs more than Seedance 1.5 Pro and less per second than Veo 3.1. This guide covers where it sits in the lineup, what to prompt, and one limit that catches people out: photos of real people.

Seedance is ByteDance’s video model family. Seedance 2.0 Fast is the faster, lower-cost variant of the 2.0 generation. Prompting Picture and Sound Together
Seedance generates audio with the video, so describe both.
A street food vendor flips noodles in a hot wok at night, flames flare, steam rises. Sizzling, clanging metal, crowd murmur. The camera pushes in slowly. Warm neon light. A lighthouse on a cliff in a storm. Waves crash against the rocks, wind howls, the beam sweeps across the sea. Slow aerial pull back. Dark, dramatic sky. The Real-Person Limit
ByteDance’s models may refuse an image that looks like a real person’s face. If that happens on PulseMotionHub, the generation is refunded, you see a plain message, and nothing counts as a strike. It is a limit of the model, not a problem with your account. If you want to animate a photo of a person, use Image to Video with a Kling model, or use a stylized or illustrated image.
When to Pick It
- You want sound and higher quality than 1.5 Pro in a 5 or 10-second clip.
- Story and atmosphere shots where ambience matters.
- Drafting for Veo. Test a prompt here before paying 16 credits for Veo 3.1.
Limits
- Plan required: Pro or Studio.
- Short clips only. Use Next-Gen for 15 or 30 seconds.
- Generated audio is a starting point, and can be muted.
- Results vary. Faces, hands and text can still go wrong.
